old room....

....new look.

We've finally gotten around to re-decorating my room. We've only been living in this house for 5 years now. About time we get a new look for my room. Jess came over and helped move stuff out into the sitting room. We thought we would have to paint over the wallpaper, thinking it was properly adhered to my walls. Well, it actually came off very easily. It took us about an hour or so to actually remove it. It was easy, and no real work involved to remove it. Except for the stubborn bits that refused to come off the wall. They will submit, damnit!

Got to hear about Jess and Jeff's vacation today. Me thinks they had a wonderful time. Got to see some pictures through Jeff's live journal. Love the boob light in the hotel. Very nice to see that plastered on the internet. Oh, and they won the treasure of the Nola Madre hunt. They got a picture of Ruthie the Duck Lady. To each his own, I guess.

Larry and Jeff are currently getting blitzed at a Saints game. They're with their friend Keith (Fish, as I've heard he's called). It's his birthday, and Larry has taken it upon himself to purchase a hot pink t-shirt and have "Kiss Me, It's my Birthday" air-brushed on both sides of the garment, so that Fish can get lucky whether he's coming or going. I think they'll be hitting Bourbon Street sometime after the game. I have a bail bondsman on call just in case, and Channel 4 has been alerted to their location agt this time. Not saying anything will happen; this is a "just in case" precaution.

Going to movies with Jess tonight. Time to hit the road.
